Do you have an Item Limit for consignors?

In order to keep our inventory the highest quality possible, we have limited consignors to 200 items per consignor code. Please carefully check your things and bring your best! It is our experience that a consignor who brings 100 great items will do better than a consignor who brings 200 items that are poor quality or out-of-date and priced too high.

An entire outfit is only considered one item as long as it can be sold together. This new limit encompasses clothing, toys, shoes, books, furniture and other items.

**If you have more than 200 items in EXCELLENT condition, you may open up additional codes. Each code will be subject to the $9 consignor fee and 200 items may be entered for each code you open.

What are my Consignor Options regarding printing barcode labels to stick onto my tags?

Option 1 - Let us print them for you free of charge. You'll pick them up and label your items at the store on one of the Drop Off Days.

Option 2 - Let us print them for you free of charge. You'll pick them up at our "Early Bar-Code Pick-Up" (announced via email for each event) and label your items at home. Ensure the bar-code is all on one side... if you bend the bar-code, it will not scan. Then bring your already labelled items on Drop Off Days. We will still honor the guarantee IF you bring your items to the store IN NUMERICAL ORDER as they were keyed in (Don't forget your inventory sheets!).

Option 3 - Print your barcode labels at home using a COLOR PRINTER. Follow the directions CAREFULLY that appear after you enter your items. Labels that are not printed correctly will have to be re-labeled in store during drop off. Label your items at home.

Can I bring my husband or mother with me to the Pre-Sale Event?

YES!! We allow volunteer workers and consignors to bring one immediate family member with them to the Pre-Sale to help them shop for that one family. This includes your husband or mother, not your best friend. We will be checking! You may give your guest pass to your friend & meet them at the Guest Sale later in the evening.

Can I bring children to the Pre-Sale?

We love your children, but please leave them with your husband or a friend during your shopping time, if possible. Pre-Sale will be very busy and it may be difficult for you to keep your child right beside you. (This will make it a more fun shopping experience for you as well!) You can always give your guest pass to a friend as a thank-you for watching your children. Just bring a tape measure and their measurements and enjoy a mom's night out!

How should I price my items?

We suggest you set the price at 25-30% of the retail value. Baby Equipment, Furniture and Large Indoor/Outdoor Toys usually sell for more and are in high demand. We have an abundance of 0-12 month sizes, so they must be priced competitively in order to sell. Maternity and Junior's clothing are also in abundance so price these competitively, also.

Can I use wire hangers?

We accept plastic hangers (any kind) and wire coated hangers. Please do not use bare wire hangers. We recommend you use children's plastic hangers for sizes 7 and below and large plastic hangers for sizes 8 and above. No wire hangers, please!

How do I secure small pieces with Toys or Equipment?

Place them in a ziploc bag and then after we inspect them, seal the ziploc with clear packing tape. This is important!

When I have items in a ziploc bag, how do I attach the string tag?

Affix the string part of the string tag to the Ziplock bag using packing tape. The paper part of the string tag should be loose and easy for shoppers to access.

OPTIONAL: If you place your bar-coded labels (stickers) onto the string tag at home, you will place the sticker onto the paper part of the string tag. Do not stick the bar-coded label directly onto the bag. The shopper should be able to easily access the information on the string tag.

How do I carry my clothes while I am shopping?

We suggest you bring a laundry basket with your name on it. Large bags will need to be checked at the door. We will have a limited number of shopping baskets and bags at the store.

What if my item is not worth your minimum price guideline of $3.00?

If it meets our "excellent quality" standards, then group it together with one or two more like items. Pin them together on a hanger, or group them in a ziplock bag and put one price for the entire group.

Should I iron my clothes?

Wrinkled clothes do not sell! We will likely send them home to you if they are extremely wrinkled. Please do what is necessary to make your clothes look clean and nice. Remember, the better they look, the more likely they are to sell!

Can I enter additional batches?

Yes, you may enter additional batches.

I don't smoke, but my husband does, what if there is a small amount of smoke odor in my children's clothing that I am bringing to sell?

We are not able to accept ANY clothing that has odor of any kind. When it is hung on the rack with other clothes, the odor spreads. We must be sensitive to children and families with allergies and we absolutely cannot sell any items with smoke odor, pet odor, or any other kind of odor. Clothing with pet hair is also not acceptable.
